O Level Results Day 2026 in Pakistan: Date, Exact Time (10:00 PKT) & How to Check

At 10:00 am on Tuesday 18 August 2026, Pakistan time, the Cambridge results portal opens — and within twenty minutes, three different groups of students are having three very different mornings. One group is celebrating. One is quietly calculating whether a remark could rescue a grade sitting one mark under a boundary. And one is discovering, too late, that the decisions that mattered — remark or retake, November entry, IBCC paperwork — all have deadlines that start counting down the same morning. This guide is for making sure you're never in the third group: the exact date and time, how to check, what the boundaries mean, and the 72-hour decision windows almost nobody explains.

The exact date and time — and why "when" has two answers

Cambridge releases June-series results in two waves: AS & A Level on 11 August 2026, then IGCSE and O Level together on 18 August 2026. Release time is 06:00 UK summer time — which converts to 10:00 am in Pakistan. Competitor sites regularly publish the UK time as if it were local, which is why half the internet will tell you a different hour. If a cousin in the Gulf is checking the same morning: it's 09:00 in Saudi/UAE, 10:30 in India.

How to check your result at 10:00

1. School candidates — the Cambridge results portal
   Your school issues you a username and password for Cambridge's candidate results site (myresults.cie.org.uk). Get the login before the 18th — the most common results-morning disaster is a forgotten password and an exams office that opens at 11. Log in, and your statement of results is on screen.
2. Private candidates — the British Council
   If you sat as a private candidate through the British Council, your results come through the BC's channels — portal notification and the printed statement afterwards. Watch the email you registered with from mid-morning.
3. Read the statement properly

4. Pull the grade boundaries the same day

• Let them open it. The result belongs to the student; being handed your own result second-hand converts a milestone into a judgement.
